Will We Linger Here?
As we leave the party we talk about nothing
anything.
Eventually we arrive at where we've already been
And end up leaving one behind
Shrugging it off we continue to drive
Two of us still afraid to get into trouble
The other three not caring
What do we do?
We turn up the part of the music that screams
no destination.
We end up, again, at a place we’ve been so many times before
It’s familiar but endlessly entertaining
call it the company.
We laugh at the endless jokes
Sticking martini glasses on our heads
Scoffing at lingerie
anything to keep us occupied.
We walk down the isles
And then find what we’re not looking for
Tokens of goodbye
Eventually we will leave
there are too many aliens in this place.
We must press on
Finish the task at hand
instead we all go home.
Wait, we forgot something
No, we have to move on
we don’t have any membership here.

Me and Nichole were in the bathroom and we were talking about something Danielle had told me Mr. Waddell said. He told Danielle that he loved us girls and that we were just a blessing to have but he couldn't wait until you all graduated because he was tired of dealing with you. Me and Nichole said basically that he doesn't know what he's talking about because we were just as rebellious as you guys we just didn't show it as much. Hence us two, are still too afraid to get into trouble, our free spirits are still contained by something of which we have no control.
Hope you're less hyper this morning. I definately need the diet coke and coffee. Not coke as in cocaine...jeepers.
Hey! One of the cautious ones here! Wow Brianna, that was really good. I especially liked the ending. Yeah, such a good parallel ( as Wayne said ). I don't know what else to say besides fantabulously fantastical!
