Sermon Notes

Hey everyone. This is my blog. Hope you like. If you're wondering about the title, my first post was something I wrote while I was in chuch. As I made this site, I looked at the piece of paper and it was called Sermon Notes for Sunday April 24, 2005. Hence the name Sermon Notes, and the address sn4s. Comments appreciated.

Seniors

Hey everyone! Just got back from orientation up at ALABAMA! It was boring, and tedious, and ugh. Anyhoo, I was writing down some lyrics in my notebook from the new All American Rejects cd (which absolutely rocks by the way!) and I found an old something I wrote in math one day up at Provy. Aaah, the anguish of being a senior.... here it is.

Seniors

We're "rebellious"
Headed in the wrong direction
We're defiant and disrespectful
Towards anyone in authority
We are not to be trusted
And not even close to becoming "adults"
We are immature and children
We act the age of two

No

We're struggling
Lost as to where we are
We're angry and misunderstood
By everyone in authority
We cannot trust anyone
And still wanting to be a child
We are trying to be what you want us to be
And we act like the age that we are

So

Stop saying that we're rebellious
Help us find our direction
Lessen our anger and try to understand
We are respectful towards our authorities
We can be trusted, but we are
Lost between the ways of the adult
And the innocence we remember as a child
Allow us to know exactly how you want us to be
And we'll act like the adult that you are

So glad to finally be past that stage of my life. Oh well... onto the next.

Goodnight Everyone!!

Well, the actual move in date is August 20th. But I believe Katherine and Mary Emily might be going up the week before that for rush. I'm not going up until the 20th and I believe that Wayne and Nichole are doing the same. 12:00 Nichole! See you there!

12:00 noon baby! I can't believe it's coming up so soon. And it's pretty cool that all four of u s are going to be in the N-S 12:00 noon move-in slot. Weird, huh? Who is busterbrown07?

Busterbrown07 was trent. He was the first two deleted comments, but because I have the email thing set up, it showed me the comments before he deleted them. So i was asking him who busterbrown07 was, or really, why he had the name busterbrown07.
I wonder if they did that time slot thingy on purpose. You know we only have 30 minutes to unload our cars? And does the one permit mean we can only use one car? Hmm....

i have it, just to have it i guess.....lol. my grandparents called me that when i was little lol.(don't ask!) So basically, ya'll move in like only a month away.....how sad. Hey, what do ya'll think about all of us going out to eat once a week every week for dinner until everyone goes off, b/c i really don't get to see ya'll that much and i just thought it was a good idea since evryone is leaving soon....sound good??? what is this 12:00 noon stuff? j/w.

Trent, 12:00 noon is when people with the last name starting with letters N-S begin moving in. And yeah, I think the once a week dinner thing sounds like a great idea. Dinner the other night was a blast. And right now, dinner in general sounds good. I hate liquids. (I got my wisdom teeth out, and can't eat solid foods...in case you didn't know.) Brianna, I don't know if I really get that permit thing either. 30 minutes isn't long to unload...especially for us 4th floorers, but maybe our new brianiac engineering roommate can devise a new unloading system for us. GASP! She's gonna be the genius that pushes the button that reveals our hidden shrine room for us!!! Awesomeness! Oh wait, that was Mary Emily's idea...now I feel sad.
